Michelle here! Happy to be sharing the Mother's Day card I created for my mom!! But first, Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful moms!!!
I started by stamping a piece of Copic friendly paper repeatedly with the Birthday Rose Corner stamp. I pretty much covered the paper. At this point I wasn't sure what size card I was going for, so I colored up most of the flowers. I'll have enough left over for another card.
When I color large spaces I stick with one color group at a time. For the magenta color flowers I used Copic shades RV63, RV66, RV69, RV99. For the blue flowers I used B21, B63, B66. For the berries I used shades E70, RV93, RV95.
The yellow roses I used Y11, Y13, Y21, Y17. The peach roses I used R01, E93, R22. For the pointed leaves I used YG23, YG17, BG99. For the rounded leaves I used YG91, G43, G46.
I decided to trim up a piece of the colored florals to 3 1/4 x 8 1/4. I colored the background with BG10. Than I added some splatters with gold and white paint. I trimmed a piece of black cardstock to fit the card base of 3 1/2 x 8 1/2 and adhered the floral background.
I used Vintage Varsity Alphabet Dies and Twinkling Jewel Glitter Paper Pad to cut the words 'For You Mom' and adhered them with foam adhesive. For a finishing touch I added some gems.
Hope you have a great day! Stay safe!
