Greetings by Donna Sledzik
Good morning everyone! I hope you are all doing well and finding some time to create.
For today's card I used a double embossing technique to create my card background.
First I stamped several images with Versa Ink onto a piece of light blue striped patterned paper from the new 6"x 6" Springtime Bouquet Stripes and Dots paper pad. Next I heat embossed the images with clear embossing powder. I sponged the paper using Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. I used a dry tissue to remove any ink from the embossed images. You need to completely dry the paper before you move on to the next step. Next I stamped another image onto my background and heat embossed this with clear powder. I sponged Broken China Distress Oxide ink over the background and used a dry tissue to romove the excess ink.
When the ink was dry I spattered the background with white ink. I used foam tape to adhere this to a white cardbase.
Next I die cut the Verdant Leaf loving Heart from white cardstock and glued this to my card. I glued a few of the leaves back into the die cut.
To finish the card I stamped the sentiment on a strip of black cardstock and white heat embossed it. I used foam tape to glue it to my card and added a few clear epoxy dots to add some texture.
That's it for today! Have a great week and thanks for stopping by.
Pretty card Donna!
