Highlight the dimension of the Magnificent Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder for a glossy, glazed look in fresh greens and yellows. Hi, Jean Okimoto here with spring-into-summer design today.
Sponge or brush squeezed lemonade, mowed lawn and twisted citron Distress Oxides onto the smoother side of Memory Box Open Studio Watercolor Paper. Give it a light spritz of water and blend the inks with the inky sponges or brushes. Heat-set the inks. Cut it with the largest Stylish Rectangle Trio die. Splatter a few dots of gold ink onto the inner portion and heat-set it.
Emboss it with the Magnificent Sunflower folder. Place the rectangle on a hard, flat surface and apply a light layer of VersaMark with a 4" brayer. Emboss it with detail clear powder
Stamp the greeting - from the Wild Rose Stem Clear Stamps and Die Set - on black cardstock with VersaMark. Heat-emboss it with detail white powder.
Attach everything to a white A-6 card (4-½" x 6-¼") - use foam dots for the greeting. Punch ¼" circles from the green Twinkling Jewel Glitter Pad cardstock.
Hope you'll give this a try. Using the hard rubber brayer lets you apply VersaMark to the highest embossed layer without smudging. It's great for large backgrounds too.
Thanks for stopping by - take care and keep healthy!
