Spotlight the center of the Serene Mandala 3D Embossing Folder and accentuate the details with a rainbow of inks.  Add a quick message from the Poppystamps Greeting Basics Clear Stamps and Twinkling Jewel Glitter Pad dots.  Hi, Jean Okimoto here with many colors - and circles - on a card ready for any occasion.

We're using the reverse side of the embossed cardstock to focus on the floral pattern in the center.  I'm recycling rainbow-inked cardstock from my stash.  Cut it with the 3" Circle Basics die.  Find the tiny ¼" raised dot in the center of the folder.  Place the inky side of the circle against the dot so the design will be debossed and "pressed in" instead of raised.  The floral pattern will be pressure-embossed and raised for inky highlights and heat-embossing.

Use a firm ink pod - shown above -  to cover the raised design with Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide.  Heat-set the ink.  Add a layer of Broken China Distress Oxide and heat-emboss it with detail clear powder.  I smudged some ink along the edge - I'll cover it with a strip of purple cardstock and call it an accent strip.  No one will know.

Ink the edge of the circle with a light layer of Broken China. Cut accent strips of purple (¾" x 3-¾") and turquoise (1-⅜" x 3") cardstock.

Stamp the greeting - from the Poppystamps Greeting Basics set - on white cardstock with Purple Delight VersaFine Clair.  Quickly emboss it with detail clear powder.  Cut it with the 1-¼" Circle Basics die.  Cut another circle from a scrap of inked cardstock and layer it to accent the white circle.  Attach the pieces to a side-folded white A-2 card - use foam dots for the greeting.  Add ¼" punched circles of the purple Twinkling Jewel glitter cardstock.

Memory Box's 3D Embossing Folders are beautifully-detailed, generous 4.5" x 5.75" designs that are perfect for cards, tags, layouts and mixed media projects.  They're great as monochromatic designs - or highlighted with inks, spritzes, glazes and watercolors.

Thanks for visiting!
