Frame glittered Splendid Poppy Stems with embossed Double Stitch Rectangle Cut Outs for a quick spring card. The Cottage Meadow 6x6 background creates a fresh garden backdrop for the poppies and scattered Cherry Blossom Elements. Hi, Jean Okimoto here - welcome to Day 4 of our 2020 Spring Collection blog blitz!
Cut the Cottage Meadow 6x6 print with the largest Double Stitch Rectangle Cut Out die. Emboss the rectangle with the next three dies (evenly spread apart and taped together) to form a frame for the poppies.
Cut Splendid Poppy Stems from green cardstock. Cut the flower tops from the pink Delicate Pastel Glitter Pack. Attach it to the green diecuts - slightly offset for dimension. Cut the double-layered flower tops off, then re-attach them slightly lower, creating shorter stems to fit our background.
Cut Cherry Blossom Elements with the light pink 6x6 glitter sheet. Attach three little blossoms to the border.
Stamp the greeting - from the Cherry Blosssom Wreath Clear Stamps Set - on white cardstock with black ink.
Attach the background and diecuts to a white A-2 card. Add ¼" dots punched from the lime green Twinkling Jewel Glitter Pad. Attach the greeting with foam tape. Add dots of Lemon Drop Open Studio Fairy Sugar to the flowers.
