Single Rose Stem, Love Airy Script Quick Card
by Anne Thompson

Sometimes you just need a card in a hurry, something that goes together quickly but still looks fabulous.  Today's quick and fabulous cards feature two of the newest dies from Memory Box.

I love the simplicity of the SINGLE ROSE STEM 94397 combined with the LOVE AIRY SCRIPT 94326.

To keep the cards simple and quick to assemble I cut all of the pieces for each card at once from a nice white cardstock and added the die cuts to the patterned papers using a glue pen.  I used my Corner Chomper to round the corners of the patterned papers and the white notecards.  One of the things I loved about using the Single Rose Stem for these cards was that separate die that cut the petal background as one large piece so I didn't have to piece in all the little cut-outs from the outline die.  And the impressions on that larger piece made lining up the outline overlay super easy.

This card in red and white would be perfect for a valentine, a winter birthday, a thinking-of-you note to a friend, or for many other occasions.  Want to dress the cards up a bit?  Add ribbon!

This is one of the cards my group at the Senior Center will make later this month during our valentines extravaganza.  It feels like I've barely finished my holiday cards and now I'm working like crazy to make a lot of valentines.  :-)  There are so many wonderful stamps and dies to choose from in the newest release from Memory Box.  And a new stencil!  And an embossing folder!  Have you started on valentines yet???

Happy Crafting!

Anne so lovely - I can see a Yellow rose on a card as well - one of my favorite rose colors - a beautiful card TFS

This design is simple yet so elegant, the ribbon just adds to the charm. Thanks for sharing your creativity.

Awwwww..... Absolutely delightful!!! Fabulous cards, so sweet, elegant and delicate! The papers you used are just perfect to show the beauty of that rose stem and the die set is very useful! Thanks for the tip about putting the pieces together!

Simply beautiful. Hugz

Love this awesome card!!

oh dear, haven't put away my Christmas stuff yet, but you're right, valentine's day is around the corner! I have a poppy stamp rose die, and yes, it is a challenge to put all the pieces in. That added die is a great addition!

Great cards!
