Hi - Jean Okimoto here with the first blog blitz project and a chance to win a great prize.

Cut watercolor paper with the 3-¼" Square Basics die.  Sponge it with Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar Distress Oxides.  Spritz it with a light mist of water, then heat-set it.  Splatter it lightly with Imagine Crafts Gold Sheer Shimmer Spritz.  Set it aside to dry.

Cut Chandele Star from white cardstock.  It's a great new design that's not just perfect for Chrismas - use it throughout the year for celebrations and special events.

Stamp the greeting - from the new Merry and Bright Mistletoe Clear Stamps Set - on white cardstock with VersaMark.  Emboss it with detail clear powser.  Sponge it with Rocket Red Gold Brilliance.  Wipe the residual ink off with a tissue.  Cut it with the ¾" Square Basics die.

Pressure-emboss the dried watercolor paper with Chandele Star using the plates and embossing mat required for your machine.

Cut a stencil from vellum using the Chandele Star.  Vellum is great for disposable stencils because it keeps a crisp edge and doesn't get saturated with ink.   Sponge Rocket Red Gold Brilliance through the stencil onto the pressure-embossed star.

Attach the diecuts to a side-folded A-2 card of textured white cardstock.  Add ¼" circles punched from gold glitter cardstock.

Oh yay Jean! Christmas card making is here. Love your joyful star card!

Pink is such a fun and different holiday color. Beautiful!

This star is gorgeous! I love how you've used the die to dry emboss, make a stencil to sponge through and use the die cut! Oh, how my list grows!

The star is so pretty, such a lovely palette.

The rosey colored background is fresh and rather sweet looking for Christmas.

I love the folk art look of this star!!!!!!!!!!! And the unusual choice of color--pink, is wonderful!

Love your clean and simple card and the way you allowed that beautiful star diecut take center stage. Like the use of the non-traditional pink color, too. Thanks for sharing!

The Chandele Star looks really nice as the focal point of your card. Your off center idea is cool.

Loving the new die that you used on this very pretty card.

I really like the dry embossing the star onto the watercolored panel before positioning the die cut star. the star design is definitely a year-round user!

You are SO CLEVER with how your add your dies to your cards!! This is GORGEOUS!!

Ooooh, so pretty. I like that the center cuts separately. Gorgeous. Hugz
