A glittery yellow butterfly from the Side Butterfly Circle adds sparkle to a summer thank you card.  Add a casual greeting from the Bold Friendly Greetings Clear Stamp Set - and you're done!  Hi again, Jean Okimoto here with a summer-y design today.

Cut watercolor paper with the 3-¼" Circle Basics die.  Pressure-emboss it with the Side Butterfly Circle using the plates and embossing mat required for your machine.  Color the three flowers with watercolor pencils.  .

Diecut Side Butterfly Circle from watercolor paper.  Layer it over the embossed watercolor paper circle.

Attach lined doublestick tape to the top of white cardstock and cut the solid butterfly background.   Cut the detailed butterfly from gold mirror cardstock.  Attach the detailed butterfly to the adhesive-covered solid background.  Brush yellow glitter onto the exposed adhesive.

Prep the smoother side of watercolor paper with the powder tool.  Stamp the greeting - from the Bold Friendly Greetings Clear Stamp Set - on the watercolor paper with VersaMark.  Emboss it with the new Mboss orange embossing powder.  Trim it.

Attach everything to a side-folded A-2 card of green cardstock - use foam dots for the top half of the butterfly and the greeting.

Thanks for visiting - see you again this weekend!

Oh, my! What a beautiful card and die set!

Beautiful color combinations. I like the pressure embossing of the die before actually die-cutting another piece and coloring.

Thanks Barbara-Jean - it's a BIG favorite...literally!

Thanks Debbie - the embossed details help guide the watercolors into the right areas. So easy!
