A crisp white Wildflower Circle on a watercolored background creates a quiet garden scene here today. It's a design that works for any occasion - from birthdays to thank yous and messages of enouragement. Hello again, Jean Okimoto here with a quick and colorful spring design.
Paint watercolor paper with diluted dye ink refills. I've used Kaleidacolor refills here. Dry the ink, then cut it with the 3-¼" Circle Basics die. Spray it lightly with Imagine Crafts Frost Shimmer Spritz. Set it aside to dry.
Prep the Wildflower Circle die by rubbing it briskly with a wad of scrunched wax paper to help release the diecut. Cut Wildflower Circle from smooth white cardstock. Attach it to the watercolored circle.
Stamp the greeting - from the Springtime Typewriter Sentiments Clear Stamps Set - on smooth white cardstock with Purple Delight VersaFine Clair, Dry the ink, then trim the cardstock with the banner die from the Garden Sketches die set. Cut two extra banners and layer them behind the stamped piece for dimension. The banner die is perfectly proportioned to trim several of the greetings from the Springtime Typewriter Sentiments set.
Attach the diecuts to a side-folded A-2 card of textured white cardstock.
Add green gem stickers.
Send a card to someone who would appreciate a bit of encouragement. It'll brighten their day - and yours too!
Thanks for stopping by...see you again next week!
