Winter's Snow Bunny is also perfect for spring cards especially when it's layered over the new Side Butterfly Circle.  Add a quirky greeting from the Springtime Typewriter Sentiments Clear Stamp Set and it's ready to go!  Hi there, Jean Okimoto here with a sweet felt bunny card for Easter.

Attach adhesive label paper or a sticker sheet to white and pale peach felt.  The paper backing stabilizes the felt and keeps adhesives from saturating the fabric.  Cut the Snow Bunny's big ears, face, paws and body section from white felt.  Cut the nose from peach felt.  Cut the eyes from black cardstock.  Cut the inner ears and tummy from printed paper.  This pretty print is from an 8.5"x11" assortment by Shizen Design that's available at Impress.

Assemble the bunny.

Cut Side Butterfly Circle from mint cardstock.  Stamp the greeting - from the Springtime Typewriter Sentiments set - on the center offcut with Green Oasis VersaFine Clair.  Dry the ink and trim the greeting with the smallest Rectangle Basics die.

Here's an easy way to attach the delicate circle...

Cut a strip of ⅛" ScorTape and snip halfway through the outer edge of the tape in ½" increments.  The little slashes along the edge help the tape conform to the circle and eliminate creases and bumps in the tape.  Not quite a major discovery...just something to make life easier!

Attach the diecuts to an A-6 (4-½" x 6-¼") card of Snapdragon cardstock - use foam dots for the greeting.

Snow Bunny is from the Memory Box Collection of Deep Edge dies that are perfect for cutting felt or multiple layers of fabric.  Pair plush felt with great printed papers for unique Easter cards, baby cards or birthday cards - or a sweet and thoughful thinking-of-you card.

If you're in the Seattle area, join us for two classes at Impress on Saturday April 6th.  It's FRIENDS AND FLOWERS at 10:30 and BEYOND THE BOX at 1:30.  Learn some new techniques, use your dies and stamps in unique ways, and have a great time!

Thanks for visiting - see you tomorrow.

Love this cute bunny!!

Love the use of Shizen paper here on the Snow Bunny!!! Great card Jean!!

The bunny is such a cute idea. I tend to only use paper. LOVE it.

Wonderful color choices and clever taping of the diecut. Scary bunny :) Thanks, Jean!

Thanks Joy - and he can also be a panda, puppy or brown bear with a little tweaking!

Thanks Jan...it's a great way to use those beautiful Shizen papers in your stash - so you can make room for the new papers coming soon!

Thanks Sharon - use high quality WoolFelt - it's perfect for diecutting!

Thanks Jacky - this is one of my favorite Shizen paper packs. It's easy to match up with cardstock - and the bunny seems happy with it too!
