Good morning everyone!
Today I have a easy Valentine home decor project for you. I am once again using the new Heart Board Die to create a wrap that goes around a votive holder. I feel that it's fun to show you several ideas using the same product. I know if I invest in a craft product I appreciate seeing it used in various ways!
To create this project I cut a strip of red cardstock that fit around the votive holder I was using. For my project I needed to cut the Heart Board 4 times to create my candle wrap.
I cut a strip of vellum paper and glued it behind the heart die cut cardstock.
Next I applied a thin strip of double sided tape ( I used 1/8" red line tape) to one end of the cardstock and to secure it around the votive holder.
To further embellish the candle holder I tied twine around the top of the candle and added a bow and a metal arrow. I die cut a red cardstock heart, stamped the word love on a strip of kraft cardstock and glued these to the arrow.
I added a battery operated tea light to candle holder. Because we are using paper and ribbons the battery operated candles are your safest option for this project.
I hope you enjoyed today's project! Have a great weekend.
