Hugs by Melissa Rusk - Outside The Box

Happy New Year! It's time for new beginnings, new projects and best of all a new release from Memory Box! Today I have a card using some of the new release to share with you, let's get started.

I started with the new Have a Heart Stamp set. I decided to try out the stamps on vellum and I used different colors of ink for the different heart stamps. When you stamp on vellum it is easy for the ink to slip so it is important to go straight down and then straight up with your stamps so it doesn't smudge. A stamping tool such as the MISTI would be perfect for this.

Once the ink was dry I glued the vellum to the card and then glued the Scallop Stitched Fancy Frame around the edge. I finished the card off with the new Big Hugs Premiere die in pink and then added some glitter with the clear Wink of Stella glitter pen.
