Hallelujah by Laura Fulcher
Greetings friends. I hope you are all doing well. Today I wanted to share a card that I did using one of the sweet Memory Box bunnies as well as some Copic markers
Here is a breakdown of how I colored the image:
E51- color entire bunny
E33- color left side of bunny (about 2/3 of the way in) as well as behind and under the hymnal
E35- add darkest shading to ear, tail, armpits, base
R20- bunny cheeks
R32- entire hymnal
R35- shading of hymnal
B0000- color around the bunny..hint… start at the bunny outline and flick the color outwards till it fades to white
B00- optional..if you want a bit more color, add a little of this darker blue around the bunny lines
C1- add a bit of “ground” under the bunny
C00- optional…if you want to add a bit more ground, you can add a bit of C00 under the area you colored with the C1
General hints for the shading:
Don’t color the bunny faces too dark!!! That is why I started with a really light brown
I wanted the upturned bunny faces to be in the light, so that affected which parts of the bunnies would be in the light and which parts would be darker
The browns that we are blending together are quite different from each other. If you are having trouble blending, scribble a darker color onto some palette paper or another non purpose surface and pick up with a lighter color to blend on your paper.
To finish the card, I added a green frame and the hallelujah sentiment. I hope everyone has a great day!
