Create a glittery starburst for a New Year's card with the diamond die from the That's Acute Triangle Dies Set.  Layer it over the cool Bubble Burst background, add some Cocktail Hour drinks and say "cheers!"

Hello, Jean Okimoto here with a very glittery design - and some inspiration for our December Holiday Sparkle and Shine Challenge.

Cut four of the slender diamonds from the That's Acute Triangle set from silver glittered paper.  Cut center circle with the 1" Circle Basics die.  Layer the diamonds and top it with the circle for a smooth finish.

Cut white cardstock with the  3-⅜" x 4-⅜" Pinpoint Rectangle Layer die.  Cut it with Bubble Burst.

Attach Scor-Tape to a scrap of white cardstock and cut the Cheers Jotted Script background.  Cut the delicate "cheers" from coral cream cardstock - and leave the diecut in the die.  Remove the inner pieces from the h, e and s.  Carefully press the coral cream cheers diecut (still in the die) onto the adhesive-covered background greeting.

Remove the diecut using the pokey tool.

Brush ultra-fine silver glitter onto the remaining exposed adhesive.

Attach adhesive label paper - or a sticker sheet - to rose gold or blush glitter paper.  The extra layer adds dimension.  Cut the large Cocktail Hour glass twice.  Punch ¼" accent circles.

Attach everything to a side-folded 4-¼" square card of coral creme cardstock.

Hope you like this design - and a lot of glitter!  Memory Box dies are great for cutting specialty products  like glittered cardstock, doublestick tape, mirror cardstock, silkscreened and embossed papers.  If you're cutting a very delicate, intricate design - scrunch a sheet of waxed paper and rub it briskly over the die before you layer it over the cardstock or paper.    It'll be easier to remove the diecut when you're done.

Thanks for stopping by...see you again on Saturday!
