Believe by Donna Sledzik
Happy Friday everyone!
Now that Thanksgiving is over it's on to our next holiday season! My Christmas card today is a fairly quick and easy one for you to mass produce.
To make this card I stamped the smallest solid triangle from the That's Acute Triangle stamp set, several times using different colors of Distress Oxide Inks. Once I was done with the stamping I took a fine point black marker and added some details to make them look like Christmas trees.
I die cut the shadow portion of the word believe from white cardstock and the script part from red cardstock. Next I inked the red die cut with versa ink and heat embossed it with clear powder. I glued the word believe to the shadow background and then adhered that to a strip of vellum paper. I wrapped the vellum strip around the card front and adhered to the back of the paper.
I stamped fa la la on a black strip of cardstock and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I adhered this to the front of the card using foam tape. I glued the card front to a red cardstock mat and adhered this to a white notecard.
To finish the card I added some black epoxy embellishments to the card front.
I hope you have a great weekend!
