Transform traditional holiday diecuts into a spooky Halloween scene with the Delicate Pine Frame and Holiday Twigs. A quick color switch is all it takes! Happy weekend, Jean Okimoto here with a fall design for you today.
Cut Happy Halloween Channel from a 6-¼" x ¾" strip of black cardstock. Cut the pumpkin from white cardstock and add eyes and a mouth with a screwpunch.
Score, cut and fold a 4-½" x 5-¾" card of dark orange Candy Corn cardstock.
Tabs at the short ends of the diecut will fit over the top and bottom of the card - adding ¼" to each edge, creating an A-6 card. Attach the diecut to the card with dots of adhesive between the tabs and the card, and under the pumpkin.
Cut the bigger Holiday Twig from black cardstock. Cut a circle of white cardstock with the 1" Circle Basics die. Cut the birds (from the Delicate Pine Frame set) from black glittered foam.
Cut the larger Delicate Pine Frame and inner rectangle from orange metallic cardstock.
Attach the diecuts to the card. Add copper-colored gem stickers.
A color change quickly adds a whole new look to holiday diecuts. Turn a delicate twig into a spooky tree and sweet little birds into shadowy night creatures. It just takes a little imagination and a big stash of paper!
