Good morning everyone!
For today's card I was inspired by Dave's Alcohol Scrunch Background video that he posted on August 10th, on the blog. If you've not seen it yet, please take the time to do so to see how I created my background. That was my inspiration for the sky on my card and it worked great with the new product release!
I created my alcohol ink background on Yupo Paper and then die cut the Snowy Circle from that.
These backgrounds are so addicting to make and I am sure I will use them in other posts!
I can see some Christmas and Halloween projects using these backgrounds.
To make this card I die cut the Mountain Valley die in the center of a white cardstock layer. I sponged the mountains with Hickory Smoke distress ink and glued the snow circle behind the mountains. I adhered this to a silver metallic card mat and I used foam tape to glue it to a white card base.
Next I die cut a stitched circle frame from silver cardstock to frame the mountain scene.
I stamped, colored, and die cut the penguins and adhered them to the card front using foam tape.
To finish the card I stamped the sentiment, glued the mountain caps on top of the mountains, and added a snowflake embellishment.
Thanks for stopping by today!
