Joy Card
by Donna Sledzik

Happy Friday everyone!

I can't believe it's Labor Day weekend.  I am so happy that the end of summer is in site and hopefully we will have some cooler weather!

For my card today I used the alcohol ink stamped background I created in my last post on August 23rd.

I inked the edges of the background with Peeled Paint and Forest Moss distress inks.

I adhered a piece of washi tape to a strip of cardstock and glued that to the center of the background.  Next I glued that to a red cardstock mat and adhered it to a white card base.

I die cut the joy from red cardstock and glued it to a white stitched circle die cut.  I lightly inked the edge of the circle with Peeled Paint distress ink and adhered it to a plain red die cut circle. This I adhered to the card front using foam tape.

I die cut some pine wreath branches from green cardstock and glued those to the left side of the circle.

To finish the card I added some red beads and clear drops to further embellish it.

I hope you all have a great Labor Day weekend and thanks for stopping by today!
