The new Elegant Snowflake Double Frame is the perfect backdrop for any holiday icon - like Build A Snowman! Add a coordinating snowflake - also from the new frame set - and a greeting from the new Typewrite Holiday Sentiments. Very jolly!
Hi everyone, Jean Okimoto here with another frosty card for your holiday stash...
Cut Elegant Snowflake Double Frame and the large single snowflake from white cardstock. Cut a background of pale blue cardstock with the 4" Square Basics Die. Attach them to a top-folded 5-¼" square white card.
Cut - and assemble - the Build A Snowman from white cardstock. Cut the hat and scarf from red velvet paper. Cut the pouf, eyes, buttons, nose, and twiggy arms from white, black, orange and brown cardstock.
Stamp the greeting - from the Typewrite Holiday Sentiments - on white cardstock with Glamorous VersaFine Clair. Emboss it with detail clear powder. Cut it with the ¾" x 2" Rectangle Basics die. Cut another rectangle and layer it for dimension.
Assemble the snowman. Attach the diecuts to the card - use foam dots for the snowman. Add pale aqua gem stickers.
BIG thanks to everyone from my first BIRCH PRESS DESIGN class and the trunk show at Impress last weekend! Special thanks to Dave and Monica for all of their deliveries and treats. Thanks to Jenny for the sweet/salty popcorn munchies, and Jacky for the special berry jam. Many of you drove, flew, or ferried long distances to take the class...I appreciate that! It was great to introduce everyone to Dave's wonderful dies and stamps and share ideas and techniques with you. I think we just added 20 new Birch Press Design followers. Please leave a comment if you'd enjoy having more Birch Press Design classes and products at Impress.
Hope our snowy, frosty winter cards are inspiring you - and cooling you off too!
