Thanks Card by Isha Gupta
Hello and Welcome! It's Isha with you today. Are you enjoying the new release products. They are fun to create with. I especially love all the Script words :) It's hot and sunny here and I see butterflies fluttering by in my garden, so now you know my inspiration :)
I really like the look and size of the "Flitter Side Butterfly", which I combined with the "Drifting Side Butterfly" from the previous release. I decided to use patterned paper to give some color to this card. So it's perfect for someone who has no time for coloring!!
I started with a white cardbase. I then cut a mat layer using watercolor paper. I then dabbed blue distress ink onto my craft mat and using a flat brush, painted some watercolor lines.
I then die-cut a vellum circle.
Now I die-cut the solid part of the butterflies and the thin Thanks word script using patterned paper.
I then cut the delicate top part of the butterflies and emboss them using two colors of glitter embossing powders for some added interest.
Now, I adhered these to the solid die-cut.
I die-cut the Thanks solid word using white cardstock and adhered the thin script over it. Assemble the card as per the photo.
Here is a close up.
To finish, I adhered some sequins (Fairy Sparkle, Mermaid Tail) from Poppy Stamps.
Hope you got inspired from today's card. Have a wonderful crafty day!
