Wonderful Friend Card
by Isha Gupta

Hello and Welcome! It's Isha with you today. Are you enjoying the new release products. They are fun to create with. I especially love love love all the Script words :) So today, I chose "WONDERFUL" and "Hutton Wreath" and created a one layer card.

I started with a white cardbase and sponged some distress inks onto the card front. I then embossed the wreath die onto the center. To emboss using dies is really fun and it leaves a beautiful impression. It's one of my favourite techniques. All you need extra is the embossing mat. I used the tabs on my big shot as I would if I am using an embossing folder but instead of embossing folder, I use the embossing mat under my paper.

I then die-cut the script dies using white cardstock. I applied clear sticky ink to the word "wonderful" and added some gold embossing powder and used heat tool to emboss this. I then adhered it to the white base.  I adhered the word to the cardbase using 3d foam.

Here is a close up to see the wonderful embossed texture using dies.

To finish, I assembled everything together. Stamped and embossed the sentiment from the Birch Press design "Just Because Stamp", cut a stripe and adhered to the card.

Hope you got inspired from today's card. Have a wonderful crafty day!

Beautiful soft colors and I love this " embossing with your dies technique", to get more ways to use your dies! Your close up picture really helped to see all the details. The font on the new word dies is so unique and versatile, love it!
