Quick Bunnies and Stitched Rain Boots aren't just for spring...they can multi-task on summer cards too! My cocker spaniels and I see more June bunnies than Easter bunnies - and rain boots work as garden boots throughout the year. Hi, Jean Okimoto here with with a spring-into-summer card designed get the most from some favorite dies.
Attach lavender duct tape to a scrap of lightweight cardstock and cut Vintage Watering Can. Memory Box dies are great for cutting duct tape and colored masking tape. Just attach the duct tape to lightweight cardstock, then diecut it.
Attach packing tape or glossy laminate to turquoise cardstock and cut Stitched Rain Boots. This gives the cardstock a shiny, waterproof look.
Attach adhesive label paper or a sticker sheet to brown felt and cut Quick Bunnies. The paper backing stabilizes the felt and keeps adhesives from saturating it.
Stamp the greeting - from the Spring Lilacs Clear Stamp Set - on pale green cardstock with VersaFineClair Fantasia. Dry the ink, then trim the cardstock with the ¾" x 2" Rectangle Basics die.
Cut the Green Folia screenprinted paper from Birch Press Design with the 2" x 3-¼" Rectangle Basics die.
Attach the diecuts to a side-folded A-2 card of pale green cardstock - use foam dots for the greeting and the boot on the right. Add turquoise gem stickers.
Put those sweet Spring Release bunny dies to work throughout the year. Brown or grey felt adds to their versatility as everyday woodland creatures. I enjoy using my Memory Box, Poppystamps and Birch Press products in as many ways as possible - hope you do too!
