Today I have a summer themed card which features some of the new dies from this year's Summer release.
I decided to go with a monochromatic themed card. I die cut the new Wave Ribbon Collage twice on white cardstock. For the background behind the waves I sponged Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron, and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide inks on white cardstock which I cut the same size as the wave die cut paper. I glued my wave die cut paper to the inked background and I adhered that to a Sky notecard.
I inked a piece of white cardstock with the same color inks as the background and die cut my jelly fish from this paper. Note: The jelly fish die I used was discontinued, but in it's place you could use the Wandering Jellyfish Die #99743. Then I glued those to the card front.
I inked another piece of white cardstock with Twisted Citron ink and die cut the shadow background from the new Birthday Jotted Script Die. I used white cardstock for the word birthday and glued this on top of the shadow die cut. Once these are glued together I adhered it to the card front.
The word "wishes", came from a sentiment in the Spring Lilacs clear stamp set. I used a Versa Mark Pen and only inked the word "wishes" from the sentiment and stamped it on sky cardstock and then heat embossed it using white embossing powder.
To finish the card I glued some clear embellishments to the card front.

Donna, you have showcased how versatile Memory Box's collage dies can be! I love that you used distress ink throughout for the background or design elements so it all coordinates beautifully! These new word dies and their shadows are such a great font!
