Hello there. Penny on the blog today with some fuzzy Honeybees buzzing. Spring is finally in the air and these cute insects were just itching to make it on to a card.

Let me walk you through it:

Start with a White cardstock base 5.5 x 4.25 inches. Add a panel of Black cardstock the same size.

Cut watercolor paper 5.5 x 4 inches. Color with Spectrum Noir Aqua markers or your favorite Yellow medium. Adhere to card front.

Die cut Peony Oval Frame from Black cardstock and adhere to card front. On a scrap of watercolor paper, paint some various stripes of Yellow and Orange, let dry, then cut again with the Peony Oval Frame saving all the tiny pieces. Glue the tiny pieces into the Peony.

Die cut the Sweet Honeybees from White cardstock. Color their heads and legs with a Brown marker. Coat their bodies with Glossy Accents, then add Moss Green Ultra Fine Flower Soft and let dry. Color their wings and adhere all to card front as shown.

Add dots of Crystal Drops for added interest.

Stamp and heat set sentiment from the Bee Yourself set, trim and adhere to card front with foam adhesive.

Make sure to play along with our Insects/Butterfly Challenge this month. Enter your creation HERE!

Happy Crafting,

Beautiful flower and love the texture on the bees
