Hello everyone,
Today I have a cute card for a boy's birthday!
To create this card I started with an alcohol ink background. I used a piece of glossy black cardstock and applied alcohol inks to it. Once this was dry I spattered gold and white ink to the background. I die cut the astronaut once from white cardstock and silver cardstock. I only used the mask from the silver die cut. I inked the white suit parts with Hickory Smoke distress ink and drew red stripes on the suit.
The moon and planet I created from a piece of cardstock that I sponged with distress inks and misted with water and hand cut the moon and planet shapes. I drew in the craters on the planet with colored pencil.
I glued the astronaut, planet and moon to the alcohol inked layer and adhered the sentiment to the card front.
Then I glued the prepared card front to a white cardstock layer that had been sponged with Vintage Photo ink, spattered with gold ink and had two strips of washi tape adhered to the cardstock.
To finish the card I stamped the "Happy Birthday" in the bottom right corner of the card and adhered this to a black card base.
Thanks for stopping by today!
