Can of Flowers by Penny Ward
Hello Memory Box friends. So what happened to Spring? Where did it go? It seems like we went straight from Winter to Summer. UGH! It is too hot in Florida for flowers, so I have to create my own flower beds...or containers in this case.
Let's pull this one together:
Start with a White cardstock base 4.25 x 5.50 inches.
I love plaid!!!! I mean really...it looks good with everything. I am getting a new craft studio while I write this and you can be sure there will be plaid in my new room.
oops...back to the card... I used a scrap of plaid just at the corner.
Die cut the Vintage Watering Can, color with Silver Metallic marker and a Red Sparkle pen.
Die cut Glorious Floral Stem, color with Magenta Sparkle pen, add white dots with a Gel pen around flower centers.
Trim a White cardstock panel same size as your base. Cut a curve at the bottom right corner. Using a ruler and Dark Pink gel pen, draw around the edges.
Adhere Vintage Watering Can with foam adhesive and glue giving it a "dome" shape on the card front. Add in you Floral Stems. Ground the can by coloring a small section of "dirt" just below the can with Spectrum Noir markers as shown.
Die cut Calligraphy Pop Thanks from White cardstock. Color the shadow die cut section with Sparkle marker. Stack sentiment together, then to card front with foam adhesive.
Add Crystal Drops to flower centers.
Happy Crafting,
Supplies
