Let's scatter some Forget Me Not Blooms flowertops across the Grass Stitched Circle Frame for a fresh spring greeting. A Garden Sketches greeting banner, glittery Wink of Stella highlights and gem stickers add pretty accents.
Hello, Jean Okimoto here with the details behind my April Floral Challenge inspiration card. It's great to go through my stash of watercolored papers and find just the right colors for a background. Imagine Crafts Kaleidacolor dye ink refills were used here. Add a few dotty accents in Brilliance Pearlescent Jade with a design from the Open Studio Bird Sanctuary Clear Stamp Set. Cut it with the 2-¾" Square Basics die.
Cut a bunch of flowers from the Forget Me Not Blooms set from scraps of the watercolored paper. The little blossoms aren't attached to the stems - it's quick and easy to cut them separately, without the delicate stems.
Stamp the greeting from the Garden Sketches Clear Stamp Set on the ultra-smooth Bright White Cardstock from Impress with Memento Grape Jelly. Dry the ink, then cut it with the matching Garden Sketches die. We love this smooth white cardstock for stamping, diecutting and crisp white cards!
Cut Grass Stitched Circle Frame from the same Bright White Cardstock.
Attach two strips of Pastel Purple washi tape - one of the many pretty colors and patterns from Birch Press Designs - to a side-folded A-2 card of...yes, Bright White Cardstock. Attach the diecuts - use foam dots for the greeting.
Highlight the flower centers with clear glittered Wink of Stella. Add light purple gem stickers.
