I have four cards to show you today that all use the BIRD BRANCH CIRCLE FRAME die 99993 along with a larger circle cut with one of the WRAPPED CIRCLES dies set 30114.
I used a variety of accent papers from my stash as well as small doilies, bows, and flowers. The tiny Opal Flowers are ones I found at Birch Press Design--where I bought a package of each kind they have, some tiny ones and other larger sizes! Love them!!!
Let's take a closer look at the first card.
I used a Key Lime Memory Box notecard as the base with a panel cut from a green tiny floral paper. I added a 4" white doily in the center using Scor-Tape. The Wrapped Circle was cut from an older 12X12 Memory Box paper that I've had for years and years--I just love the tiny trees. I cut the Bird Branch Circle Frame from dark green cardstock and the birds from scraps of the same green floral print paper. I edged the birds with Hero Arts Green Hills ink. I secured the larger circle to the doily using Scor-Tape. I used a glue pen on the branch circle and tiny pop-dots on the birds. I added two silk leaves (found in the wedding decor section at ACMoore), a tiny cream pearl-centered bow (also from ACMoore), and five of the tiny Opal Flowers from Birch Press Design using glue dots. I've left the inside blank and will add the appropriate sentiment when I decide how I will use the card. It may end up as an anniversary card.
Here's a look at the basic supplies.
Card Two:
This time I used a Bayou Memory Box notecard, a circle cut from a stash of Memory Box Pool clouds paper, the branch circle cut from dark green cardstock, and the birds were cut from a tiny scrap of watercolored paper. The edging ink was Hero Arts Tide Pool. I used a turquoise small doily, a pool/white dotted bow, and more of the little just right flowers from the same Opal Flowers Birch Press collection as I used previously.
Card Three:
I started with a lavender notecard, a scrap of floral/stripey paper, a heart-shaped doily, lavender and dark green cardstocks, and birds cut from a scrap of watercolored paper. I used Memento Elderberry ink for edging the die cuts. The final touches were a purple bow and some white stamens at the bottom of the heart.
Card Four:
I used a Powder Memory Box notecard (a very soft blue), a scrap of floral paper, a circle cut from Bluebird Distressed Dots paper, a dark green cardstock branch circle frame, and tiny birds cut from a scrap of watercolored paper. I used Memento Bahama Blue for edging the die cuts. The only addition was a large light blue satin ribbon bow.
Happy Spring!!!
and Happy Crafting!

All of these are so pretty, but I admit the purple is my favorite. If you have time, I would like to know the approximate size of the birds?

Hi, Cynthia. The circle frame is 2.5 in. in diameter. Each little bird is 0.4 in. X 1 in.--so tiny and soooo cute! I had to use my tiniest pop-dots to place them on the branch. Happy Spring!!! Anne

Hi, Conniecrafter! Thanks for your comment! I have quite a paper stash! Some papers, like the Memory Box one with the tiny trees I've probably had for ten years!!! Ones like that I can't replace I'm reluctant to use sometimes. But it was the perfect choice to match up with the Bird Branch Circle Frame. Happy spring!!! Anne

Each card is so very beautiful! I LOVE the way you coordinated the papers and colors. You have such a gift for design. TFS the best part of spring that I have seen so far. When we awoke this morning we thought we had slept through the day, the sky was so dark and gray plus we have an abundance of rain! May flowers are probably going to consume us if April showers bring May flowers.

Hi, Juanita. You make me smile! It's raining here this evening and mixing with what I hope is just a tiny bit of snow. I am sooo done with winter weather! Thank you for your comments. I really love playing with color and texture and I always look for interesting ways to combine Memory Box notecards, papers, stamps, and dies with other elements from my collections. Happy spring! Keep watching for those May flowers!!!! Anne
