Bamboo Grove
by Olga
Hi fellow die cutting lovers! The card I am showcasing today is just for people like us because it is built up entirely of die cuts without any stamping or inking or much of other techniques. Everything here is die cut - a background, bamboo circle and stems as well as a frame and a sentiment.
I have combined a bamboo circle with bamboo poles to create one continuous image although it changes color as it goes. I demonstrate exactly how it's done in a video tutorial below.
Placing a sheet of vellum behind the die cut background allows to add some backlighting for a bit more dramatic effect. It is also going to help hiding the written message inside.
I guess this neutral shade card will do great for both men and women. Watch the video for the step by step guide on how to make it:
Thanks for joining me today! Hope to see you again really soon on Memory Box blog!

Your card is sensational! I LOVE the colors and dies that you chose. I am also very happy to see a card that can be for a male of female, it is perfect for either. You have a wonderful imagination and TFS!

Another clever card Olga and always so inspiring too , I love how clean die cutting can make cards look although there are times when I love my stamping and colouring too and others when I like to combine both. I always think your cards are clever as you use such a small colour palette but still get stunning results that are always inspiring and enviable in the sense that I want to achieve and your videos help with that too so a big thankyou.
