Have a Heart - 5, to be exact - is a great matchup for the Wirework Hearts Clear Stamp Set. It's a practical, versatile die set you can use throughout the year. Hi - Jean Okimoto here again, with the details behind my February Challenge inspiration card.
I found some pretty pieces of watercolored, shimmery spritzed papers in my stash and diecut them with the Wrapped Stitch Rectangles and Have a Heart sets to create contrasting backgrounds.
Stamp the large Wirework Hearts design onto another piece of watercolored paper with Onyx Black VersaFine and emboss it with detail clear powder. Cut it with 1.5" x 1.7" heart.
Attach the watercolored diecut rectangle to a top-folded A2 card of white textured cardstock. Cut both the rectangle and card front with a portion of the Heart Rays die. Save the largest Heart Rays watercolored heart.
Attach the saved heart in the opening you'll discover (oops!) on the backside of the cardfront. This sounds silly and complicated, but it'll be a sweet surprise when the recipient finds that watercolored heart inside the card. Really.
Attach the hearts to the card - use foam dots to add a bit of lift on the right side of the background heart. Add pink gem stickers.
Hope you're joining the February Hearts Challenge - Memory Box has so many great heart designs for you to chose from!
Thanks for visiting - have a great weekend!
