Just a Note
by Isha Gupta
Hello and Welcome! It's Isha with you today. Spring is just round the corner and I can't help but think of all the pretty flowers, Easter and crisp air :) So, I decided to use some of the new spring theme products to create this spring theme card.
I started by creating the mat layer for my card, for this I die-cut a watercolor paper using Wrapped Stitch Frames die. I used the inside rectangle piece of it. I also die-cut a blue panel using the same die to use the frame.
For the background, I used distress ink and smooshing technique to the watercolor panel and let it dry. I then die-cut the Woven basket (Love the embossed details), colored it using various copic markers. I adhered this to the watercolor panel.
Next, I die-cut the Bunny and colored him using copic markers. I then die-cut the Devonshire Wreath and snipped parts of it to use as flowers and leaves. I colored these using copics and adhered everything onto the panel. I then adhered this watercolor panel to the cardbase and stamped the sentiment.
Finally, I adhered the frame to the card using 3d foam adhesive. To finiah, I added some Nuvo drops in the flower centers and the bunny's eyes and nose.
Here is a look at the embossed effect in close-up
Hope you enjoyed this card. Have a wonderful crafty day!
