Six little trees - from the new Tiny Tree Triplet set - create a quick and easy last-minute holiday greeting. Glittery gold stars and a matching Sketchbook Joy add the finishing touch. Hi - Jean Okimoto here - with my final card of the season for you today.
Cut smooth white cardstock with the 1-½" x 2-¾" Rectangle Basics die. Cut it with the 6-trees die. Cut turquoise, red and green cardstock with the 1-¼" x 2-½" Rectangle Basics die. This great rectangles set eliminates the guesswork, measuring - and hoping the colored rectangles won't show along the edges of the white rectangle. Christmas is just four days away - this will be quick!
Cut the turquoise rectangles with the 5-trees die. Cut the red rectangle with the 3-trees die. Layer the turquoise, red and green rectangles behind the white piece.
Cut Sketchbook Joy from green glittered cardstock - it'll be easy to remove the delicate diecut if you place a layer of medium-weight plastic (like a shopping bag) between the die and the cardstock. Save the little dot that goes above the "j." The plastic-covered diecut will slip right out of the die. Just peel the plastic off, then wiggle the negative sections away from the "joy" instead of vice-versa. It works, trust me!
Cut ¾" x 4-½" and ¾" x 3-¾"" accent strips of turquoise and red cardstock.
Cut gold glittered cardstock stars with the Starlit Breeze die.
Attach everything to a top-folded A-2 card of textured white cardstock.
Big thanks to everyone from last weeks WINTER BLISS class at Impress - and extra-big thanks to everyone who joined us for classes throughout 2017. A total of 34 classes, including the repeats! Thank you very much for taking the time and traveling from near and far to mix, match, layer, stamp, fold and attach - and laugh and chat - while we made cards, calendars, tags and treat wrappers. Special thanks to everyone at Impress too - for all of your help!
2018's classes begin on January 6th with my LOVE IS SWEET Valentine class. More techniques, zingy colors, glitter and another candy-card for your special sweeties.

I love this card and it’s colors! Could you please tell me which colors you used for the paper? which brand of paper did you use?
Posted by: Gina Petersen | 12/27/2017 at 03:35 PM
Thanks Gina! The red and green are just "mystery" scraps from my stash - and the turquoise is
Bazzill Navajo. Bought the gold and green glittered cardstock from Impress.
