Hi everyone!
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Next up is New Years, and I hope it is a happy and healthy one for all of you!
For my New Year's card I die cut the Woodland Oval from black cardstock and embossed it with aged black embossing powder from Stampendous. It gives the die cut a nice shimmer and texture.
To create the background for the card I sponged Broken China Distress Oxide Ink over a white cardstock layer, using masks for the moon and the hills.
Remove the masks and use the circle that the mask was cut from as a stencil and ink the moon with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink. I used the reverse mask and inked the hills with the same ink.
I spattered the background with white acrylic paint. Once the paint was dry I glued my die cut to the background.
I sponged Broken China Distress Oxide ink onto a white cardstock strip and stamped the saying with black ink. Using foam adhesive I adhered the sentiment to the card front.
To finish the card I glued the card front to a white card base and embellished the card with some sequins.
Thanks for stopping by today!
