Warm Wishes Mug
by Laura Fulcher

Greetings friends.  Christmas is almost upon us, so I thought it would be nice to pair one of the Cozy Mug dies with the Holly String die from Poppystamps.  I use the mug die for winter cards, but it is good for a Seasons Greetings card as well.  the nice thing is that the largest mug die actually fits a teabag, so it works well for cards that you want to make into a mini gift.

To make the card, I cut out a mug from kraft paper ad added a sentiment from the Playtime Elves stamp set.  The Holly String die is actually much longer than the top of the mug:

I cut the holly string out of olive colored cardstock and then colored the centers of the leaves with a darker green Copic marker.  To finish the card, I added some rhinestones and layered everything onto some holly patterned paper.

On a side note, I made more bunny ornaments from the Snowbunny Deep Edge die, so I thought I would show you other color variations from the post I made with the die.  I plan to make more bunnies (without the hat) in the Spring.  I love the versatility!

The winter bunnies are very cute. I would probably insert one into the card as a sweet little gift for the recipient.

You did a wonderful job with the card, I LOVE the holly on the cup and the rhinestones really add interest. The bunny ornaments are adorable and I think what Cynthia D says is a great idea. TFS and Happy Holidays.

Love the card and the cute bunnies! xxx
