Snowy Cabin by Laura Fulcher
Greetings friends. Memory Box has brand new dies that are perfect for Christmas or Winter cards. I chose to share with you the Stitched cabin along with the Snowy Tree Circle.
When you cut out the Snowy Tree Circle, this is what you end up with:
I ran the die through the machine again with blue paper to end up with this:
I colored the tree and the pieces of the cabin with an assortment of Copic markers to end up with these pieces:
Next, I place a piece of white cardstock behind the opening on the card:
The reason why I placed the white cardstock scrap behind the opening was to allow me to paper piece the blue "sky" on top of it. Once I did that, the white scrap in the background appeared in the openings of the blue cardstock to look like snowflakes:
As a final step, I added the cabin and some glitter to the snow to make it sparkle:
