Piccolo Snowflake Ornament, Ornament Caps and Hooks and Stitched Piccolo Snowflakes by Jean Okimoto

Piccolo Snowflake Ornament and Stitched Piccolo Snowflakes create a soft, pastel winter scene in pale blush pinks.  A shimmery Ric Rac Ribbon and some help from Classic Ornament and Ornament Caps and Hooks make it easy to combine textures, shimmer and shine.  Sequins from Birch Press Designs add the finishing touch!

Hi, Jean Okimoto here, with a pretty-in-almost-pink design for you today.  Mixing, matching and layering diecut design elements can be challenging - but a coordinated color scheme makes it easy.  Begin with a basic layout, select your favorite colors, add sequins or glitter...and there's your card!

Cut Classic Ornament from pale blush cardstock.  Cut Piccolo Snowflake Ornament from light pink mirror cardstock.  Cut the ornament hook and cap from light pink mirror cardstock.

Cut the narrowest Ric Rac Ribbon and two of the Stitched Piccolo Snowflakes from iridescent blush cardstock.

Cut a 3/4" x 4-1/2" strip of rose gold glittered cardstock.

Attach everything to a A-6 (4-5/8" x 6-1/4") card of natural cardstock.

Add beautiful Fairy Tale Sequins for a sparkly finishing touch.  View the Birch Press Design Sequins Collection - they're so pretty you'll want them all.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at today's MERRY AND QUICK class at Impress!  We'll use these pretty papers - and a lot more - for the quick and easy cards we're making.

Thanks for stopping by - join us again for Laura's great card on Saturday!

Beautiful card! Love the way the elements are floating, yet tied together!

Love the layout but I can't get past all the rose (pink) colors that are popular this year:(

Thanks Stef - there are so many pretty pinks - have fun creating winter cards with all of the different shades!

Thanks Joan - so many pinks and so many pieces, but they someone work together!

Oops - meant "somehow!"

Thanks Shelley - this would be great in red+gold or teal+silver too! Or vice-versa!
