If it's too cold (or too warm) to be outside building a snowman - let the new Build A Snowman die set create one for you!  Crisp white, holiday brights, red felt and glitter help him stand out against a Wrapped Circle background of neutral kraft cardstock.

Hello, Jean Okimoto here, with a collage-y winter design for you.  Imagine the Resting Bird is a resting dove - and create a folksy little homespun " joy, love and peace" design with bits and pieces from the stash.

Although I switched things out a bit with the striped print for the hat here, the Build a Snowman set is specially designed so the diecut pieces of the same color are together.  It's so easy to cut the white snowman and hat trimmings, orange carrot noses (in two styles!), black for the eyes and buttons, dark brown twig arms,  and the red hat and scarf.  Thanks Dave!

My original pouf for the hat was from watercolor paper - but I re-cut it from a wide green stripe on the printed paper for a bit more color.

Cut the snowman and snowflakes from the Snowdrift Breeze from watercolor paper.

Cut the hat and scarf from red felt - attached to adhesive label paper or a sticker sheet for stability and to keep adhesives from soaking through.

Cut the bird (from the Resting Birds set) and the heart (from the Snowman Collage set) from red glitter cardstock.

Cut the Wrapped Circle background from kraft cardstock.  Wrapped Circles are great for standout backgrounds that complement - but don't compete with - your design elements.

Assemble the snowman.  Attach the diecuts to a kraft card - use foam dots for the snowman.

Don't let freezing temps - or tropical breezes - keep you from building a snowman.  He'd be great on a gift tag,  diecut ornament or on thank you cards for the great gifts you'll be receiving.  The Build a Snowman set is a must-have for your collection of holiday dies!

Celebrate Shop Small Day on Saturday, November 25th at both Impress stores - receive a special gift from Impress with your purchase of $30 or more!  Bring your Memory Box and Poppystamps wishlist with you - then match the great dies with your favorites from  the huge assortment of  papers, felt, glitter, sequins and inks waiting for your holiday projects.

Join us for classes at Impress on the 25th too.  We're making 7 deceptively quick and easy cards in MERRY AND QUICK at 10:30.  Stay for the GIFT TAG PORTFOLIO class at 1:30 too.  You'll make a pretty little fold-out portfolio and fill it with 8 colorful tags - and I've added a bonus candy card to the class for the special folks on your list too!

Thanks for stopping by - have a great weekend!

Love this cute snowman with his little bird! Gorgeous card! xxx

Very cute card!

This snowman is so very cute! I like the striped trim on his hat. He would be very cute in a large cup of hot cocoa, he could be the whipped cream or the marshmallows.
Thank you for sharing this happy card today!
