The Deco Trees die is a favorite for mass-producing cards that are easy, colorful and uniquely-yours. Cut the watercolored background and the handmade deckle edge paper with Rectangle Basics for a perfect fit. No measuring, guessing or thinking required! Hello, Jean Okimoto here with a quick design for your holiday cards.
Cut three edges of the watercolor paper with the 4" x 2.75" Rectangle Basics Die. Cut the rectangle with the Deco Trees die.
Sponge Shizen Design cold press rough-surface watercolor paper with Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxides. Coloring it diagonally results in a nice distribution of these beautiful shades. Don't try to blend the different colors - color contrasts create great impact. Use a waterbrush to blend each color within its own area - the paper's texture creates interesting patterns and shading. Impress just received another shipment of this watercolor paper - it's great!
Heat-set the inks. Spritz it with Imagine Crafts Gold Sheer Shimmer Spritz, then heat-set it again.
Trim the watercolored paper with the 2.25" x 3.5" Rectangle Basics die.
Stamp the greeting from the Open Studio Merry Christmas Sentiments Clear Stamp Set with Peacock Feathers on a top-folded 5.5" square card.
Cut strips of green and turquoise cardstock.
Assemble the card and add shimmery turquoise sequins from the Birch Press Mermaid Tale Premium Set. View the entire collection of beautiful sequins and accents here.

I always love the watercolor technique you use for your cards! I especially love the background behind the deer where I can see a hint of the leaf stamp! How did you make the small white dots?
