LEAF COLLAGE die 99800 is my choice for a card perfect for this month's blog challenge: Falling for Fall Autumn Cards.
(Sorry about the line that shows on the card front...must have scratched my camera lens.)
This is a quick and easy card! I started with a piece of black cardstock 8 1/2" X 5 1/2" and scored it at 4 1/4" to make a top-folded A2 card. I placed the Leaf Collage die on the card front and ran it through my Big Shot, saving the black leaves to use on the envelope and inside the card. I went through my pre-painted watercolor papers and found one with lots of orange tones and cut it to 5 1/4" X 4" and adhered it to the inside cover of the card. Voila! Autumn leaves!!!
The sparkly bits are amber-toned gems in two sizes adhered in the oval leaves as leaf veins.
On the inside message part of the card, I added a piece of white cardstock cut 5 1/4" X 4" and glued on some of the smaller black maple leaves in opposite corners. I added one of the black oak leaves to the envelope.
To finish the card I added three more of the amber gems to the front.
It's always fun to see what you do with the monthly challenge! Hope you'll join in this month and create your own Falling for Fall Autumn Card.
Happy Crafting!
