Hello everyone!
Today I have a Christmas card featuring one of the new stamp sets from the fall release. The images lend themselves so well with the slider dies!
To create this card I started by inking the top portion of a piece of cardstock using Broken China Distress Oxide ink. I then adhered this to a white card base and stamped my sentiment on the bottom of the cardstock.
Next, I die cut white cardstock with the stitched trees, inked them with Mowed Lawn Distress ink, and glued them behind a piece of white cardstock that has been cut with the Stitched Curved die. After that, I cut the slider in the hill and attached this to the card front using foam tape. Next, I stamped, colored and die cut the bear, Santa hat, and trees.
I used the penny method to create the sliding bear and placed it in the slider. (There are many ways to create slider cards, which you can easily find on YouTube.)
To finish the card, I spattered it with white ink and added some red bling to the trees.
Thanks for stopping by today and have a great weekend!
