I'm on a roll creating Christmas cards. There are sooo many wonderful dies and stamps in the Holiday Release that make this an easy and fun task! Today's cards feature the SNOWY PINE OVAL die 99831 and the POINSETTIA BLOOMS set of five dies 30093. Each notecard base is a different green--using up what I have for single cards in my green basket.
Here's the first card I made:
To start this card, I cut the Snowy Pine Oval as well as the stamens from the Poinsettia Blooms in white cardstock. I then cut the poinsettia blooms from both red and dark green cardstocks--I set the largest green ones aside to use as leaves. I secured the oval to a green notecard, just putting glue on the oval outline. I then decided that I needed green trees behind the white ones for more dimension and definition, so I cut the Snowy Pine Oval from dark green cardstock, snipped off the trees, and slid them behind the white trees. A few dots of glue secured the two layers together. I assembled the Poinsettia Blooms with a glue dot between each layer, added two of the green leaves to the base of the flower, white stamens and a white pearl in the center and secured it to the card with a dimensional foam square. I chose the "merry Christmas" from the Merry Christmas Sentiments clear stamp set CL5212 and curved it a bit on an acrylic block before stamping it in Archival Jet Black ink in the upper left. I used a clear Wink of Stella pen to add some glittery goodness to the trees and the poinsettia. Here's a closeup from one of the cards.
I made a second card in the same manner, using a white poinsettia with a green gem center.
For the third card, I offset a dark green Snowy Pine Oval underneath a white one which was definitely the easiest and quickest layering strategy and I curved the sentiment a bit more to fit closer around the oval's edge. This is the design that I will reproduce multiple times.
For the bonus card, I used the TALL PINE OVAL 99845 cut from white cardstock and the TALL PINE 99848 cut from dark green cardstock layered underneath the white with the sticking-out bits snipped off. I added a Poinsettia Bloom cut from metallic gold cardstock and some brown pearls. Love the gold!
I really like the look of the dark green branches under the white trees. And the Wink of Stella adds just enough sparkle!
These layered trees would also make great "Let it snow!" cards for this winter. (Planning ahead...) Happy Crafting!

Great cards...I especially love the metallic poinsettia and the tree you shadowed with the dark cardstock. All are beautiful, as always.

Oooooh Anne! Now THIS is why I LOVE Memory Box/Poppystamps dies! I cannot get enough of them. (We have a local store that carries them both and they are well stocked.) I cannot wait to see all of these there in the coming weeks!
Your cards are absolutely gorgeous, the gold Poinsettia Blooms are phenomenal! Very well done!
