Hello friends! My card today features the Cozy Mugs die set from the latest holiday release. This is a great set that can be used all year round and for just about any occasion.
I die cut the largest mug from white card stock and stenciled Peeled Paint Distress Ink onto the body, masking off the handle. I then masked the body and sponged Peeled Paint onto the handle. I added a little glitter to each dot, and lightly sponged Peeled Paint around the edges of the mug.
I die cut one of the frames from the Stitched Frame set and adhered it to the green A2 card base. The mug was slightly shaped and adhered with foam tape as shown. From the Poinsettia Blooms set, I die cut the middle poinsettia and two of the smallest. After shaping them, I adhered them together, offsetting them slightly. The centers were cut from white card stock and sponged with Scattered Straw Distress Ink. It's not seen well in the picture, but I added some glitter to the center as well. The assembled poinsettia was then adhered to the bottom right of the mug. I cut the tendrils from white card stock and sponged with Peeled Paint, then tucked them as shown to the left of the Poinsettia.
I cut the snowflakes from white card stock, and also snipped the smaller snowflakes from the Snowflake Wire, adhering them as shown, leaving room for the sentiment. I added glitter to all of the snowflake centers. The sentiment was inked with Versafine Onyx Black ink.
Once I decided on the layout, this card was easy and quick to assemble. I hope you enjoyed this card, and I'm so glad you stopped by for a visit. Have a wonderful weekend!
