Thank You
by Isha Gupta

Hello everyone.... Isha here sharing a fun card. I am fascinated with lighthouse but have never seen one in real. When I saw my daughter's places to visit during the summer break...there it was lighthouse...lol. So I had to create a card as this is how I imagine it...all whimsical and fun :)

I started with taking a black cardbase. I then die-cut a scalloped trimming and adhered it to the base. Then I die-cut a circle from this panel using the pinpoint circle frame die.

Then I cut a square piece of cardstock and sponged it using distress inks. Then I flicked some water to it for some texture. Once dry, I adhered it to the back of the black card cardstock window.

I then die-cut the lighthouse and waves. I colored some of the windows using yellow copic marker and adhered it to the lighthouse using a tape at the back. I colored the solid part of the wave using a light blue copic marker and adhered the outline wave to it.

I then die-cut the thank you word 3 times using white cardstock, Colored one of it using the same blue copic marker as the wave and stacked all the 3 diecuts together for some dimension.

Finally, I assembled everything together and added some wink of stella clear glitter to the waves and the word.

Have a wonderful crafty day :)

Love this card design!

Beautiful colors and details! Love this pretty card!

Love the sea shore scene in beautiful color combo!

Cool card!

Love it!! So Pretty!!

Isha, your card is lovely. I cannot believe you have never seen a lighthouse. They are really pretty cool. We live in Nova Scotia (Canada) and there are light houses not far from us in any direction. I guess its like anything, if you grow up with it you eventually tend to take these things for granted. If it makes you feel any better, I am no traveler so there are MANY things I have not seen that I am sure you have! LOL
A fantastic job on your card!

Gorgeous card! Love the beautiful colours - they really pop against the black! xxx

Love the card - and the idea that whoever is being thanked brings light in your life or is a lifesaver in some way.

The black cardstock makes a real visual impact. Love all aspects if this. Great color choices.

Isha love your card the colours are fab and the black really makes them sing. I hope you get the chance to visit your magical lighthouse and many more in reality too . Thank you for sharing.
