Yes it's true, I am bird crazy...crazy for these new feathered friends found in the Bird Sanctuary stamp set just released this month. Not only are the birds delightful but there are several very useful sentiment and accessory stamps included in the set.
All three cards were created with this beautiful set and a few paper scraps!
Just a touch of color was added to the branch and bird body using Zig Clean Color markers and Copic markers--so fun!
This bird looks as though he's in flight so I added some ink flecks to the background area. After stamping the bird, I cut out and positioned a mask to shield his body before flicking the gold ink onto the card.
...and to round out the set of three bird cards, this sweet little guy is sitting so calmly on a branch with a "Thinking of You" sentiment. The diamond pattern below him is from the stamp set as well and was added (stamped 5 times) using a stamp positioner to keep the spacing even.
Remember, there is a set of coordinating dies available which adds oodles of possiblities for other creative cards.

What a lovely set of cards and the birds are coloured so beautifully too think of the 3 I like the first best as it reminds me of the sparrows nesting in our house guttering that I can see from my desk, thank you for sharing goes to show never throw scraps away.
