Hello Friend
by Penny Ward

Hello.... Penny here today on the blog bringing you another new release for the summer called Bird Sanctuary. In this set you receive three different birds, four sentiments and a few accent stamps. By changing the coloring of the birds, you could turn these stamps into festive holiday cards.

For now, lets go with my Bluebird:

My card base has been embossed with a woodgrain pattern.

I then popped up the die cut Pinpoint Circle Frame with foam adhesive and tucked Climbing Vine die cuts beneath the Circle after coloring with a Spectrum Noir marker and snipping them apart.

The Bluebird from the Bird Sanctuary has a matching die. I colored him with Spectrum Noir markers Tb2 & Tb5.

Sentiment was stamped with VersaFine Majestic Blue ink.

Change the sentiment and you have a Sympathy card...a Baby card...a Christmas card...OK, you get the idea!

Happy Crafting,

Blue bird of happiness

this would make a lovely set of cards!

Ah this wee bird is so cute and looks fab in blue thanks for sharing.

Love this layout Penny and the bird - so soft and lovely

I love your card design, it's simple but elegant and somehow a monochromatic color scheme is such a pleasing effect. I love the pinpoint circle and how it draws your eye to the sweet little bird! Well done!

I love chickadee's and this is beautiful. Great Job!

Love you card and the bird is beautiful, I volunteer for a wildlife rescue so this is a must.
