In keeping with this month's challenge, I made two birthday cards to share today. For one I used the PINPOINT CIRCLE FRAME 99760 and for the other I used the PINPOINT DOUBLE FRAME 99765, each cut into the front of a green notecard. On both cards I chose the PERKY HAPPY BIRTHDAY 99761 as the sentiment which I cut from black cardstock.
Let's look at the Pinpoint Double Frame Card first.
I began by cutting the Pinpoint Double Frame into the front of the notecard, saving the center rectangle which popped out. Using two dies from the Rectangle Layers set 30086, I cut two rectangles from doublesided leaf/dot printed paper, one a bit larger than the popped out rectangle and one a bit smaller. I adhered the larger rectangle inside the opening, leafy side out. I then layered the popped out green rectangle and the smaller leafy rectangle on top of the dotty one on the inside of the card front.
On a scrap of white cardstock, I stamped the small flowery heart from the So Many Things to Love stamp set CL5196 using VersaFine Onyx Black ink. I colored it in using Memento pens--Cantaloupe, Tangelo, Pistachio, Rose Bud, Lilac Posies, and Lady Bug. I cut it out carefully and popped it on the card front using dimensional foam tape. A black sparkly gem dotted the i.
Now let's look at the Pinpoint Circle Frame card.
I began by cutting the Pinpoint Circle Frame into the front of the notecard, saving the center circle which popped out. Using the two dies from the Studio Circle Layers set 30016, I cut two circles from doublesided leaf/dot printed paper, one a bit larger than the popped out circle and one a bit smaller. I adhered the larger circle inside the opening, leafy side out. I then layered the popped out green circle and the smaller leafy circle on top of the dotty one on the inside of the card front. The next step was to die cut the Perky Happy Birthday from black cardstock and the Petite Flower Bunch 99654 from both dark green and gold cardstocks. I snipped off the gold flowers and glue-dotted them on top of the green ones in the bouquet. I then used a glue pen to add the Happy Birthday sentiment to the front of the card at a bit of an angle below the circle frame. I secured the flowers using more glue dots. Adding a yellow gingham bow and some tiny pearls finished off this one.
