Let's celebrate summer with a Dragonfly Stems Left Corner on a color-washed center from the Pinpoint Circle Frame. Hello, Jean Okimoto here, with a splashy-bright background for the delicate golden dragonflies. They'd be beautiful anywhere - but I think these four Distress Oxide inks created the perfect summer backdrop for them. Hope you agree!
Press Broken China, Cracked Pistachio, Fossilized Amber and Worn Lipstick onto separate areas of a large acrylic block. Spritz the block with water and allow the colors to start blending for a few seconds. Press watercolor paper onto the diluted inks. Drag and lift the paper off the block and set it aside to airdry for a few minutes. Dry it completely with a heat-tool.
Cut it with Pinpoint Circle Frame.
Cut Dragonfly Stems Left Corner from gold mirror cardstock.
Cut a stencil from The Crafter's Workshop stencil plastic using the dot die from the Modern Border Trim set. Score, cut and fold an A-6 (4-5/8" x 6-1/4") card of smooth white cardstock. Mask a few rows at the bottom of the stencil. Sponge Imagine Crafts Delicata Gold Shimmer through the stencil. Dry the ink.
Assemble the card and add light green gem stickers.
Thanks for stopping by on your busy weekend. No classes for me this weekend - I'll post another card tonight. See you then?

Thanks Thalia - it's the dies and inks that are over the top! Our favorite colors help too.
