Prayers & Pinpoints
by Penny Ward

Thoughts

Hello my friends. Penny here today with a Sympathy card. I like to have a few of these in my stash for unexpected occasions.  I love all the textures with the dotted lines, stitched swirl and dimensional flowers. Doesn't this card just look peaceful?

Let's do this:

Start with an Olive Green card base.

Die cut the Pinpoint Circle Frame from Pale Peach cardstock.  Die cut the Swirling Stitches to the left side of this panel.

Before adhering this panel to the card base, take a scrap of White cardstock, ink lightly with Oxide Fired Brick and flick water. Figure out where your Pinpoint Circle Frame will fall and adhere the Oxide panel to card base. Now adhere to the Pinpoint panel to card base with foam adhesive.

Thoughts2

Die cut Antilles Floral Bouquet from Medium Peach cardstock, Climbing Vines and Lavender Bunch from Olive Green cardstock. Snip here and there to make an "arrangement" and glue down to the outside of circle.

Thoughts3

Die cut just the Pinpoint Circle Frame from Dark Peach cardstock. Stamp and heat set sentiment from the Prayers Sentiment stamp set using VersaFine Onyx Black ink and Clear embossing powder.

Adhere over the stems of your floral arrangement with foam adhesive.

Add Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle marker to flowers and leaves for a shimmery effect.

Happy Crafting,

This is truly beautiful Penny, it DOES look peaceful!
I depleted my sympathy card stash recently after my husband had lost 2 aunts and a cousin all within 10 days! I have to get back to work though and make some more...

Beautiful card! Love the flowers and the colors you used!
