The new Cubic Border, Seaweed Stalks and diecuts from the Goldfish Collage team up on a birthday card today. Hello, Jean Okimoto here with a simple design for a color-infused birthday celebration.
Paint a strip of watercolor paper in loose, overlapping shades of teal and turquoise Peerless Watercolors. Sprinkle it with a few drops of water, then heat-set it. Cut it with the new Cubic Border. Trim it to about 5-1/4" x 1-1/4".
Cubic Border is great for cutting little windows on card fronts too. Imagine how cute it would be with little ghosts peeking thru on a Halloween card! There's Christmas-in-July - why not Halloween-in-May?
Paint another piece of watercolor paper in watery shades of green. Dry it, then cut several sets of Seaweed Stalks to trim and layer at the base of the Cubic Border.
Felt golfish diecuts - in shades of peach, dark-orange and pumpkin-orange - create a ombre set of fish to add texture to the design. Just attach adhesive label paper or sticker paper to wool-blend felt and diecut the 3 colors. The paper backing stabilizes the felt and keeps adhesives from soaking through.
Stamp the greeting - from the new Fish Tales Clear Stamp Set - with Imagine Crafts Espresso Truffle Memento Luxe on a lightly-textured top-folded white A-2 card. Heat-set it.
Attach the diecuts. Add silvery gem stickers. Send it to the birthday child - or fish-loving guy - for a very special celebration.

Do we have to buy this through a store? Memory Box doesn't have an online shop to order from?
