Little Dragonflies and the Dragonfly Stems Left Corner create a shimmery garden scene in hopes of a warm, sunny day. Mat and frame them with two Rectangle Basics dies and you'll have a unique card ready for any occasion. Hi and Happy Friday - Jean Okimoto here with another design featuring the great dragonflies from our latest collection.
Paint watercolor paper with pastel shades of diluted Imagine Crafts Kaleidacolor Inkpad refills. Dry the ink. Cut it with the 2" x 3-¼" Rectangle Basics die.
Cut Dragonfly Stems Left Corner from onyx shimmer cardstock.
Attach adhesive label paper or a sticker sheet behind pink glittered cardstock and cut Little Butterflies. The additional layer adds a bit of dimension to the diecuts.
Cut smooth white cardstock with the 3-¾" x 5" Rectangle Basics die. Press a Brilliance Starlight Black inkpad onto an acrylic block to transfer the shimmery black ink. Use a waterbrush to pick up and splatter Starlight Black onto the left side of the rectangle. Gently dry it with a heat-tool.
Attach everything to a top-folded A-2 card of textured white cardstock.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Raining Cats and Dogs class at Impress this Saturday. We're making 6 cards in rainy-day, dog and cat themes. Don't worry - they're not all on one card! They're a big part of our life here - so let's create cards with them.
Thanks for stopping by...have a great weekend!
